The last few weeks have seen The X-Files at its peak. Some of it's most celebrated and popular episodes have now come and gone: two more double bill episodes focusing on the mythology (in addition to the three-parter I mentioned earlier), and two more wonderful Darin Morgan episodes. This was the time when everybody was talking about the show, its ratings were sky high, and the characters Mulder and Scully were never more popular. It's great to see it all again.

Indeed, the show was so popular at this point that even I put down my cheese to view an episode or two. I actually remember watching the Mulder-locked-in-a-burning-box-car-with-no-hope-of-escape episode.
Was his escape ever explained?
Am I completely missing the point by using the words 'x-files' and 'explain' in the same comment?
Is Cathedral city a cracking cheddar?
I think we know the answers... (although I recommend repeated testing of Cathedral city for, erm, quality assurance reasons...)
